Remember when Sabrina Carpenter released a philosophical song...

Somewhere in the world there, is a father and a mother
And the father is a son, who has a mother
The mother has a daughter who gets married to the brother of a mother
And they all just tryna multiply with one another

Somewhere in the world, you got a robber and a bank
And the bank robbed the people, so the people rob the bank
And the police came to get him, but they let him get away
'Cause they're all just workin' to get paid the very same

I love it. She was so deep in her Christina Aguilera bag for this one, they should remix it and re release it as a mother/daughter duet. That Aguilerian influence is just too strong on this vocal performance in particular.

Skinny dipping was so misunderstood when it was first released but it's actually aged very well. That chorus is beautiful idc what anyone says

those damn twitter memes about the song ruined it for a majority of people sadly. I do still think it was a bad choice as a lead single though. I can't believe how far she's come since people were clowning on her at the beginning of that era, this new praise is long overdue!!

Not want to be that kind of person but if this thread was made two or three years ago everyone would've ignored it. So many of you only care about an artist when it has worldwide success and exposure :biblio: Where's the "music, not the bling" spirit?:gaygacat7:Hopefully you won't leave her hanging when her music underperforms like it happened to Dua.
