Mordecai Posted June 23 Posted June 23 This album alone washes ENTIRE careers, she had her foot on our necks for three years with this However it is a crime that the best song on the album (ET) is also the least streamed single 3
Dialamba Posted June 23 Posted June 23 There was a Tik Tok about the fact td has some many hits from the same album she was really in her bag 3
Erreur2 La Nature Posted June 23 Posted June 23 This honestly doesn't surprise me. Most recent albums have impressive first days but quickly decline. TD is considered a classic, despite what some ATRLers love to pretend. 1 6

KindnessPunk Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Do we have to compare "Pop Bible" type of albums to the normal albums? 1
Blackout2006 Posted June 23 Posted June 23 (edited) Why can't she do stuff that's like a mature version of Teenage Dream? Her pop-rock songs from 2008 to 2011 were so good, and I think everyone has seen enough of her dance-pop phase. I think she could do amazing in something like 80s glam-rock and power pop that heavily draws influence from TD. These rehashed empowerment dance-pop anthems aren't cutting it out anymore. She isn't even putting an interesting spin to it like Charli xcx or Billie, it's just her singing on a Shutterstock dance music audio. Edited June 23 by Blackout2006 3 1 1
Catch22 Posted June 23 Posted June 23 She should've re-recorded TD at this point and release Pearl, it's a great woman empowerment song. 2 1
Heirloom Posted June 23 Posted June 23 One consistent thing about Katy stans is looking to the past 1
ahauntingnearu Posted June 23 Posted June 23 (edited) Classic I haven't listened in years - I should! Also, CC's numbers are fuckin inSANE. 1M fewer than RO despite 2.5x more songs. Not to mention most of the streams have to be THE... Edited June 23 by ahauntingnearu 1
