hypnodemiluv Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Only thing that ozempic makes me is SICK because it's a DRUG on prescription but it's advertised like some innocent candy. I get it it's helpful and innovative but i don't see for example XANAX praise or this type of commercial tactics. It's serious DRUG.

burninredhot Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Celebrities obviously have to remain fit and attractive to be relevant so I don't think it's the worst thing in the world as long as they're aware the side effects can reduce their life span
dumbsparce Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Happy is a strong word. Good for them I'd say, but they should be upfront about it in case they speak publicly about their weight loss. Not vegetables and water bullshit.
Batsy Armada Posted June 24 Posted June 24 I don't have a strong opinion about it, one way or another, as it ultimately has nothing to do with me. I love the feeling of being in the gym and working out; I've been able to maintain my lean build for years, while also building muscle in the process. Which, my ultimate goal is to bulk up—which I'm doing slowly, but surely. The worst I can say about this is that I don't want to hear the sob stories years from now whenever the potential side effects from taking it start to set into and damage their bodies.
Stellar1103 Posted June 24 Posted June 24 (edited) Le sigh...GLP-1 drugs is one of the most well researched drugs (20 plus years) and shown to be very effective for treating type 2 diabetes and managing weight plus improving kidney function and heart health. Plus, it's being used as a new treatment in Parkinson Disease. Drugs like GLP-1 will evolve as as scientists start to better understand diseases on a molecular level. Edited June 27 by Stellar1103

Bencharmer Posted June 26 Posted June 26 (edited) Celebrating what celebrities do to satisfy the idea of what a bunch of white men decided 70 years ago?!? Agreeing on using anything, even taking medication for people who are seriously ill.... Then they will post about fighting patriarcy and toxic masculinity? Woow that's the closest thing to the description of hell i've ever seen. Edited June 26 by Bencharmer
