Are you, a fit/skinny/thin person, happy to see big celebs/the rich taking Ozempic?

Only thing that ozempic makes me is SICK because it's a DRUG on prescription but it's advertised like some innocent candy. I get it it's helpful and innovative but i don't see for example XANAX praise or this type of commercial tactics. It's serious DRUG.

Don't really care just think it's funny how not long ago the same people who were preaching about body positivity and accepting their own bodies as they were went running to get rid of said body as soon as there was an easy option lol

Well Lizzo didn't and stood by her word

Celebrities obviously have to remain fit and attractive to be relevant so I don't think it's the worst thing in the world as long as they're aware the side effects can reduce their life span

Why would I care what other people do with their bodies :skull:

Happy is a strong word. Good for them I'd say, but they should be upfront about it in case they speak publicly about their weight loss. Not vegetables and water bullshit.

I don't have a strong opinion about it, one way or another, as it ultimately has nothing to do with me. I love the feeling of being in the gym and working out; I've been able to maintain my lean build for years, while also building muscle in the process. Which, my ultimate goal is to bulk up—which I'm doing slowly, but surely.

The worst I can say about this is that I don't want to hear the sob stories years from now whenever the potential side effects from taking it start to set into and damage their bodies.

Le sigh...GLP-1 drugs is one of the most well researched drugs (20 plus years) and shown to be very effective for treating type 2 diabetes and managing weight plus improving kidney function and heart health. Plus, it's being used as a new treatment in Parkinson Disease. Drugs like GLP-1 will evolve as as scientists start to better understand diseases on a molecular level.

Celebrating what celebrities do to satisfy the idea of what a bunch of white men decided 70 years ago?!? Agreeing on using anything, even taking medication for people who are seriously ill....

Then they will post about fighting patriarcy and toxic masculinity?

Woow that's the closest thing to the description of hell i've ever seen.
