I disagree with both of you. Real change happens within. She should stay in the Democratic party and continue to build a true progressive coalition (her squad, I hate that name). Since she is in New York, her political career would disappear if she went independent, if she was in a smaller blue state like Bernie she could run for senate as an independent, but that is not happening in New York. The DNC and Hillary campaign hated Bernie Sanders and trashed his supporters hardcore. The Democratic establishment, oligarchs, and AIPAC is working in tandem to oust Bowman and Cori Bush.
