discussion How do you handle rudeness from the service staff (cashier/waiter/manager)?

I'm thinking and it's strange i can't think of ever experiencing rudeness from service to a point that i had to retaliate. Either most of them are just nice to me, or I'm a total submissive doormat that I just don't care how I'm supposed to be treated. I'm definitely on the extreme opposite end of a karen.

I've very rarely encountered rude customer service staff. Most of them are perfectly nice to me, a few look a bit bored but who can blame them. As long as they do their job I don't particularly care if they're smiling/being super friendly or not.

No like honestly. I remember once going to pick up a click and collect order and standing there for like 20 minutes while they rummaged around the storeroom. When they came back and apologised I was like oh don't worry it's fine x 

 

When I worked in customer service as a student some people were so rude to me, I even cried a couple of times. I'd never want to make someone else feel that way.

The most I've ever done is ask for service charge to be removed in London once but generally I just ignore it.

Rudeness I can disregard. I was a service worker before. I know how many stupid ******* people they deal with and how it can add up and add up and you just think everyone is a ******* dumbass. Incompetencies from service workers I am annoyed by, and that I think was mostly also from being a service worker.
