georgechxng Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 They're two of the biggest breakout artists of the year due to success of "Espresso" and "Good Luck Babe" but while the latter has catapulted Chappell's "The Rise and Fall Of a Midwest Princess" to the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, Sabrina's most recent album "emails i can't send" has only peaked at #34 so far. Why is that?ย
Popular Post lustforyou Posted June 21, 2024 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2024 Umโฆbecause Chappell is blowing up with old songs that are on that album. Sabrina is blowing up with new songs that don't have an album yet. This comparison can't be made until August when Short n Sweet is out 45 2 3 1
Colmillo Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 (edited) Chappell is an albums artist, Sabrina is a singles artist Edited June 21, 2024 by Colmillo 9

Why would someone stream Sabrina's album from 2 years ago because they like Espressoย ย OR people could not be miserable, bitter gays that pit two women who have been trying for years and finally have success against each other. Sabrina literally just covered Good Luck Babe.

Chappell's album also has more songs charting on iTunes + it's well above Sabrina's on Apple Music as a whole ย it's not like Sabrina is flopping - her album is rebounding but Chappell's just has more in its favor commercially atm Edited June 21, 2024 by cloudbusting 1
Walk_Away21 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 (edited) EICS is older but is still having a good resurgence despite Espresso and PPP globally smashing HARD. Both are winning. Also Sabrina has 2 Emails hits still slaying. ย ย ย Edited June 21, 2024 by Walk_Away21 5
