Why is P!nk never talked about much in stan world?

Cause she's very private with her life. No drama. Stans love drama
Cause she's stuck in a comfort zone. I honestly dont get that hyped about her albums anymore cause she will serve the same.
She really needs a reinvention :giraffe:i can see her havin some sort of comeback like Shakira, Beyonce if she does.

She's boring. No narrative. Her entire persona revolves around her not being like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera. I mean the only time she's really brought up on here is when she's taking about her past drama with other pop girls from 2002. She also makes music for an older white woman crowd and they don't frequent these internet spaces lol.

The absolute blasphemy plastered in this thread :biblio:

She mostly focuses on the music and performing, and she's way too talented in that, more than 90% of ATRL faves. When it comes to performing with the mic on, she leaves behind almost everyone so no wonder stans never bring her up, since she outdelievers in that department (or they resort to the 'she's hanging in the air lol' as if their faves would ever nail something like that).

There's many interesting things about her as an artist, sadly stan world doesn't care about the art, they just care about the drama and spamming mediocre people with a media machine behind :coffee2:

I don't know but she released the best bop from 2023 so, she deserves her flowers.

People in this thread talking about "oH bUt sHe hAs BiG tOuRs"

like...okay? I guess different strokes for different folks but if I were an artist, I would HATE to be known as the lady who makes a lot of money but panders to the lowest common denominator because she doesn't make creative or boundary-pushing art and music. If anything her "art" has not aged well and songs like Stupid Girls make her look like a pick-me.

Because there's no people under 28 stanning her and that's perfectly okay :heart2:

This gotta be a troll response coming from an avi like that. But maaaybe, don't you think she might have big tours because tons of people actually find the art you can't see in her performances? Look it up :coffee:

Might be her key audience is adults who have much more serious things to care about than talk about their fav singers. Plus she's not appealing to young audience who talks about celebrity.

I agree. There are two factors. One is what you mentioned. Most of her fanbase is living real lives and dont have time or interest in high school fabricated dramas and number two is, she simply doesnt care about the "celebrity" status. You dont see articles about her everyday life, about where she goes, what she does, with who blah blah blah.
And if people dont see things about you, they dont talk about you. Simple as that.

She is still selling out stadiums so I guess she is doing something right.

She's very talented, but her music took a nosedive in quality after 2012.

People talk about ME! or Stupid Love being bad, but have they heard Blow Me or Never Gonna Not Dance Again? :skull:

Irrelevant and Trustfall are both great songs from her recent output though but we needed more of Irrelevant and less of the bland stuff we get now.

She's just the Coldplay of pop girls

What social boundary does Pink's "art" push? Does she make art that's camp or even maybe her performances have references to queer art? Anything avant-garde with her costuming? Does she sing about domestic violence or feminism or really anything important socially?
Cuz as far as Im concerned, people go to her big tours because its fun to see some lady swinging around for a few hours and not for "art." Maybe Im just unfamilar with her work so please feel free to enlighten me. Im happy to change my mind if you can show me some examples that prove me wrong.

Well you're wrong. People go to her big tours because she's s great performer, and vocalist and they love her music. Simple as that. I hope this helps.

Y'all need to put some respect on Pink's name. She is a legend

Well, because she's predominantly associated with the pop music landscape of the 00s. Her fanbase probably would have been huge fans during that time period, but as she matured, she expanded her appeal beyond her core fans. It was a smart move on her part

We are THANKFUL for that. Keep shining Pr!ncess!

She makes mature and level-headed music that this forum wouldn't be able to relate to

There's not much drama around her, which stan culture is all about.

And I think that being under the radar has brought her more good than bad.

The revisionist history that there was no drama around her from her debut to her third album is wild to me. The whole Try This saga which she didn't want to put out, her beef with Xtina (now squashed), her rejecting some media training from her label, etc.

After I'm Not Dead any sense of rebellion was gone and after Truth About Love radio in the States stopped caring and the material became MOR, which was inevitable with a long-term relationship and becoming a Mom.

All she wants is successful tours at this point from past glories with no attached drama and good for her honestly. If the recent material was not as generic she'd be injected into more conversations generally but that's no longer the case.

She is a top tier performer/ singer in the industry right now.

She wasn't under the spotlight like Britney during the early 00s. She isn't a streaming giant like Shakira or Beyonce at the moment.

She is slaying in her own way. She has no drama around her too.

A legend minding her own business!

Online forums are not her base, and that's fine.

She's still well-respected, an amazing vocalist and performer, and she has a great catalog.

She doesn't fit in when it comes to stan culture. People would say it's because of her being a tomboy but no it's because she makes soccer mom music and is not as badass as she used to be tbh. Kelly Clarkson doesn't fit in either in stan world. They are talented women

to be fair Kelly Clarkson used to have one of the biggest fanbases here and gets hit threads with her name.
