drivers license Posted June 20 Posted June 20 personally, never say never. because y'all didn't see it for Tate McRae & Sabrina Carpenter, yet they blew up when you least expect it. what did they have that Madison Beer don't? if anything she looks the most likely to be THE popstar, but somehow pretty privilege is failing her. what are your predictions for little miss Madison Beer?
Lasso Posted June 20 Posted June 20 honestly, if home to another one couldn't do it, idk what will. 1
BlackoutZone Posted June 20 Posted June 20 One could hope.. it's honestly such a shame, cause she deserves the most. The other girls could only wish to have something as good as Home To Another One or Sweet Relief 9
KillingYourCareer Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I don't see why she wouldn't. She's as faceless and AI-generated as the other two. 3
Suilen Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I like her a lot, but if Make You Mine couldn't make her happen, then I don't know what will without compromising her artistry (and yes, she has some, but since she's a flop and doesn't have many fans, it's easy to drag her on that front). I suppose an endorsement from a bigger artist would help because I don't want her to do anything she normally wouldn't to get a genuine hit. Make You Mine was a bit basic, but it was still in line with her usual subject matter and mood. 2
judasmonster Posted June 20 Posted June 20 yes, with her talent she can easily be on their level. Its just a matter of waiting for her time to come 2
laqqinq Posted June 20 Posted June 20 At some point, she can/will/might. One good thing is she has got herself a loyal fanbase.
SimpleKindofLife Posted June 20 Posted June 20 After witnessing Sabrina's slow burn I feel like anything's possible with these Gen Z girls. Madison has some streaming hits and has built a good touring audience, I feel like all it's gonna take for her is the right song to really propel her career. I think she's more interesting than Tate, even though I loved Think Later, and is on par with Sabrina in basically every aspect. 1
butterflymimi Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I hope so, my girl is criminally underrated. however, if it means compromising her artistry for generic music then I hope she stays a niche artist, after going to the spinnin tour I realised she has a bigger base than I thought. Make You Mine was a great balance of something more mainstream whilst being uniquely her.
bad guy Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I feel like Madison slowly has gotten bigger over time, but I also think she's too perfect looking. This would have been a gift in the 2000s, but we sadly live in a time where gorgeous women are torn apart online for simply being gorgeous. As if her beauty gives her music no merit. That said I think the forced hate against beauty trend is dying and she will get a big moment in the next few years.
Popboi. Posted June 20 Posted June 20 She has the fanbase, the looks, the drive, voice and charisma. She lacks a decent or even remotely competent team to make it happen though.

The perfect beauty isn't the issue (see Tate McRae), but the lyrics should definitely be a tad less polished/faceless and spark some more of her personality. The more descriptive and relatable and/or unconventional lyrics are these days, the better, that is playing a huge role in why Sabrina, Charli and Chappell are blowing up, why Billie and Taylor are still in their status, why Ariana is doing better than she did with Positions and why Dua is seeing a decline Edited June 20 by Popboi.
Julia Fox Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) If she were on a decent label she could have get there but Epic is just useless. Like even Sabrina being on a modest label like Island is smashing, she just needs to get out from there and go to Island, Republic, Capitol or Columbia to have a smart push. All of her releases seems so poor strategically speaking, if they not send a single to radio, they just don't push the song on streaming and if they are doing something right they just don't release a MV on time or put her on TV shows to put some promo. Just an incompetent team giving Hollywood Records kind of strategy aka non existent Edited June 20 by Julia Fox

I've seen the dumbest posts about her looks, how "uncanny valley" she is, and how people have had trouble relating to her because of it. So that definitely is a factor. But yeah relatability in lyrics is probably the most important, particularly being able to carve your own lane which Ariana, Billie, Taylor, and Charli have done (Chappell/Sabrina are still working at it). It's just that when your image is so associated with how beautiful you are (Madison) it can get in the way of relatability. It's unfair because she can really sing but her team has yet to make her personable yet, which I hope they focus more on in the future.
TiaTamera Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Honestly Madison Beer is too pretty. She's an intimidating beauty to the insecure and honestly to me (I don't follow her on socials) she doesn't come off as a mean girl. She needs to milk her beauty and be the Regina George of pop. Rihanna is prettt but she has sass to her and never really was the unable type. People except her to be like Megan Fox in Teenage Drama Queen, so she needs to be it. 1
selena_lavigne Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I tried once but i couldn't get into her last album. But Dead, Home With You, Follow The White Rabbit, Baby, and Boysh!t are all incredible.
chrispratt Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) make you mine, villain, reckless, follow the white rabbit, effortlessly, blue, sour times, boyshit, baby, dead, fools, say it to my face, more, carried away, hurts like hell, all day and night, home to another one, dear society. i fear she was never admitted into that asylum.... Edited June 20 by chrispratt
JC. Posted June 20 Posted June 20 I wish she did. I used to blast Home With You on repeat a few years back.
Totami Legend Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) she is the angelina jolie of pop music, her beauty outshines everything else. Personally, I really love Make You Mine and some other tracks on Life Support. She doesn't have payola / shady support from the industry like the other girls you mentioned, that's why she is not at the top yet. Edited June 20 by Totami Legend
skeeyee Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Well she's the best singer out of the three, so atleast she has that
