Should Katy scrap Woman's World after initial reactions?

I have legitimately seen nothing but negative TikTok's about the snippet saying she fumbled her comeback by releasing an AI-generated sounding track (by the snippet).

Considering the track is still weeks out should they just scrap it and move forward with something else?

it's not too late Katy!

Honestly, yes. She's wasting a huge opportunity with a song that NO ONE wants

There's already a video filmed for it and Lord knows what other things they've planned for it so at least they will get something out of it. They can always rush the next single which I hope they've already picked and is better.

YES! It's going to be terrible trash. :mazen: What an embarrassing time to have this woman on my signature.

If Dr. Luke is on the track, and it ******* sucks on top of it, what is the point, Katy? If you're going to sellout and be a demon going back to a rapist, then at least get a ******* global smash out of it. Foolery.

Orlando, you need to come collect this lady. :celestial5:

Absolutely not. She should 100% stick to her guns and let this have a proper roll out.

Just to clarify, this is solely my opinion - I think the song and the snippets I've heard so far are fantastic. However, I understand that everyone has their own perspective on it. Even if she were to abruptly cancel the release, she would likely face backlash for the decision. But that's just part of the industry - if the song doesn't perform well, that's simply how it goes. She has previously dealt with setbacks and criticisms in her career so this wouldn't be a new experience for her.

Scrap the song keep the cover deliver "cry about it later" "champagne problems" "Harley's in Hawaii" "never really over" demo'd "witness" and reclaim your rightful thrown at the top of the pop scene since big nostril Gaga is in no rush to do anything but eat pizza and get Madonna'd fillers

She should release another song this Friday that doesn't sound like a Witness leftover and then drop that song.

OMG. I played a YT video of its snippet and was waiting for the ad to finish... turns out the "ad" was the actual snippet. :rip:

I hope the rest of the song is better.

All this energy could've been focused on promoting "Cry About It Later"  and have it pull an "Angels Like You"

Honestly yes.

The song is bad. The lyrics are dated. She's working with Dr. Luke.

It'd be better to release something fresh that isn't just a worse version lyrically of Hey Hey Hey (as if that's a lyrical masterpiece).

the mv might be filmed, but it's not too late to mute womans_world.m4a and replace it with walking_on_air.mp3

No, this album has been a long time in the making and it would be stupid to scrap that in favor of something hastily cobbled together in a minute just because of the internet pre-judging a piece of work based upon a snippet.  An internet that is too backwards to realise what it is hearing has already received overwhelmingly positive feedback from unpublicised focus groups before anything was even green lit for actual usage in the first place.

Yes, the song is awful. It blows my mind that this is the same woman who wrote Thinking of You. You would think this break would've given her some new fresh perspective.
