supertiffany Posted June 18 Posted June 18 most of songs that she sings are written by her which skill of her is better her singing or songwriting?
selena_lavigne Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) Up until eics which sounded a bit too grown for me when it came out, every time she releases i'm in tune with her songwriting. I caught up with eics a year and a half after the release. I'm a fan of her songwriting. Edited June 18 by selena_lavigne
Bosque Posted June 18 Posted June 18 She is alright at both. Her biggest strength is her strong "Katy Perry Factor"
Walk_Away21 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I would have said songwriting but she's been gagging me lately with vocals. Both I fear.
Julia Fox Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I prefer her songwriting tbh despite her incredible use of voice like her harmonies, power and versatility are just underrated but I love how she talks about things that haven't been mentioned before on any song like lying to your therapist, the espresso metaphors, the embarrassment that a boy could bring on PPP, the storytelling on because i liked a boy, the way she treats heartbreak on opposite and the way she could to to tongue in cheek clever catchy relatable lyricism and break up sad songs resonates a lot with the GP
