After just over a month, Billie's triumphant third album spends another day atop Spotify/AM; extending HIT ME HARD AND SOFT as the longest running #1 album this year on both platforms

Despite being written off during the underperformance of Happier Than Ever it seems she's bounced back even bigger than ever, solidifying her musical dominance. With half the album still Top 50 on Global Spotify and 4 songs Top 50 on US AM (7 WW) it appears Billie is seeing new heights not seen since her record-breaking debut with just one official single so far.

 

All that being said: what went right?

I think the opposite it happening. The music and the lyrics are loved and that's why it's so stable.

Maybe this will come back to bite me when my favs come back with their albums. I just feel like this album feels too much like a masterpiece for me to get into it. I like music that feels more accessible. But it's something i'll listen to cuz it's Billie Eillish.

The way I originally predicted this album would debut under 40M, meaning it would have had 0 days at the top. But instead she's been #1 for 32 days and counting.

i meant the official charts where you can release 123456 versions and go number one which won't reflect the quality while streaming stats do

The album doing 30M in it's 32nd day while HTE did 35M on it's first. Oh Billie don't hit a new peak like that
