I truly, truly don't see it happening. I wanted her to make a STELLAR comeback, but it's already riddled with problems:
- waiting like a month to make an announcement
- lead single sounds uninteresting, dated, and is potentially an ava max reject? The concept alone has been done to death and this is not great

- Going back to Dr. Luke was a huge misstep, esp having him on a song about women's empowerment. 

- Potential Kim collab will not go over well either

- Kesha's tweet makes it clear she feels at least some type of way about it too

I haven't liked anything she's released in a long time and I think GP hasn't been into it as well, I'm not sure, I don't follow her career anymore

however she might release her best album if if it's just something fun, nocturnal  and dancey - think Adam Lambert's Original High, Tove Lo's work with SG lewis  and similar stuff with a dash of Jessie Ware, that's kinda the vibe I got from the promo photo (did not listen to any leaks)

 

as long as the focus is on production and not lyrics which in Katy's case are always terrible it might serve a cult club classic

 

not sure if Katy has a vision for this though considering her previous work but lets hope for the best

She personally approved the cover for Teenage Dream, but she also came up with the clowning for Smile.
