base megathread Anti Taylor Base: A Megathread for Criticism of Swift

Please lobby all of your criticisms towards Ms Swift here in this megathread. Think of it as the antithesis to a base thread. You are safe from warning points here. You no longer have to create a new thread every time a tweet dragging her goes viral. You can attack her all you want and get validated by the others here in this safe space.

 

There will be no brainwashed Swifties defending her or retaliating or playing the victim. Here you get to criticize the "McDonald's of Pop" to your heart's content. Let it all out my sweet summer children. And merge any existing hate threads into this one, for the good of ATRL.
 

I have a dream that this thread will become the third most popular of ATRL, right after the Lady Gaga base and the TTPD album thread. Help me see that dream come true. ATRL. Hit Taylor with all you've got.

If Swifties could make 89123712641 hate threads about Adele, Beyonce, Ariana, Katy, Dua, Rihanna, etc. in the past few years, why would we need a Megathread for Taylor? Is it another extension of her mediocre privilege?

I'm welcoming the criticism, as I always have. There are valid critiques of Taylor's artistry, career, and personal life. Express them. They are, more often than not, more insightful and profound than the meaningless hatred and vitriol. There is a space for all categories to be explored here.

Good luck making it happen but I would love if it did. Would make ATRL less of a Taylor Swift forum with some discussion about other artists, though still with Taylor mentions everywhere and back to a general music forum.
