Which male artist would face more sexism if they were a different gender?

The list of artists who would be more successful or even equally as successful would be even shorter.

Well... all of them?

Maybe the openly queer ones (Troye, Lil Nas X...) would see the least difference.

I feel like 90% of the rappers and country artists.

the pop artists might be the only one where it is about the same.

Post Malone. Imagine a white woman doing trap for years only to chop off the braids, switch to a country-ish sound, and collab with Taylor and Morgan Wallen :rip:

But he's literally the male Taylor Swift and according to this site, being basic and safe are what makes Taylor the biggest artist of the 21st century. Ed is basically is the literal definition of that. If Ed was female, I bet he's the one challenging swift with her demographic.

All of them. Women don't get away with the what men do in the industry. Imagine if a pop girl released any of Drake's most recent albums? Even Taylor Swift won't get away with that level of mediocrity. What female artist would be able to show her face again if she went on a Kanye rant? Post Malone would be public enemy #1 with the chronically online for cultural appropriation. Funny how nobody comes for him for abandoning his hip-hop aesthetic and sound once it was no longer dominating in the mainstream like in the late 2010's and now he's collaborating with country artists since that's trendy now. So yeah...all of them.
