halcyonday Posted June 17 Posted June 17 i just hope she worked with Max's team again for this project, they had some amazing songs without Luke on Witness Witness Roulette Chained To The Rhythm Bon Appetit Hey Hey Hey (the lyrics are meh but the production was great)
peacok Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I refuse to believe this is an Ava Max reject, it means Katy isn't even trying anymore
smoochie Posted June 17 Posted June 17 (edited) Those who think that "Woman's world" is Ava Max's just because a website that anyone who can log in can edit, I'm sure they don't know WW, it's a concept of "Mans World", an old song from 2009 that Katy wrote with her friend Jadyn María, and produced by D Smith, when Ava Max wasn't even walking yet. I was sure she would get a hit with Luke but this ain't it. Honey, even my cat vomiting hairballs sounds better than the atrocity your retired fav dared to release last year 1
$ebert Posted June 17 Posted June 17 The leaked snippet sounds plain… I want to wait to the official release before sharing my thoughts. I hope she's not working with Luke again, cause if she is…I won't be streaming at all… 1
Cqmerqn Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I don't think I've ever seen an artist lose this amount of hype in just one day. 12
Danny1021 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Girl if the 42 snippet i heard is the song, yall gunna be disappointed in the chorus, i was. "It's a woman's world & you're lucky to be living in it" girl…. I'm so disappointed i hope it's fake. I know she will serve in the music video though.
QueenB Posted June 17 Posted June 17 After listening to the LQ leak... this sounds like a grower and not as bad as I thought
Achilles. Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I have long been a Katy Perry hater, but I give credit where it's due: I loved Never Really Over. It's the last time I was really "aware" of Katy and it left a good taste in my thoughts during these quiet years of hers. So I had some good will for her and was genuinely hoping that she would come back with a good song and find some success with it. But this is an absolute joke. The fact that she's running back to Dr. Rape, her worst producer with whom she has made some of the most abominable hits in living memory… the fact that she's working with him at all is unforgivable, but the fact that she's working with him on a song that purports to be a feminist anthem?? Has she no shame whatsoever? And I mean, making your big comeback with someone else's album scraps is such a dire indictment of the state of career and depth of her artistry. Yikes. I was, much to my own shock, rooting for her. But if she wants to live in the **** house, that's her choice and I won't be joining her. Hope she flops. Hope it's panned. Hope Taylor does some stupid gimmicky **** to overshadow Katy's release entirely. And now, I'll allow a vastly superior talent and person to have the last laugh: 15 2 3

TalkThatRihanna Posted June 17 Posted June 17 What is that snippet Sounds bad enough as an album track, but a comeback lead?! Let's try again for her 2028 comeback
skwonderfactory Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Wait a second, I just had a realization. The album closer of Smile is called "What Makes a Woman", plus she performed it on American Idol, and the lead single from 143 is called "Woman's World". How awesome! 2
JoeAg Posted June 17 Posted June 17 oh. I just read about this might be a l*ke co-production. Katy... please 1
skwonderfactory Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Can some please transcribe the lyrics for the full song and post them in a spoiler tag? Thank you.

365 Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Kesha's tweet… She needs better people around her. Just because some of the other girls got cute hits with Luke, it doesn't mean people are going to let her get away with it. People are ALWAYS ready to pounce on Katy no matter what she does, if she and her team had any sense they would have seen this backlash coming. They just threw away so much hype.
hallucinate Posted June 17 Posted June 17 the leak is… whatever this being a scrapped ava single is just hilarious
