365 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 That Joey Monda account on Twitter is giving unhinged Gaga Stan that still isn't over the Applause thing. It's kinda funny… like girl, take it easy! It's okay….Gags is thriving, let it go!
KKKIMO92 Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Cover is a slay but the song was bad, giving an outdated try hard playing catch up type of song. The lyrics are cringe….No everyone can get their The emancipation of Mimi era.
Bends Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I now understand why insiders relied only on visual, not mentioning music. 3

"A woman's world" is such a common phrase... A user from this Web site's post was shared on Twitter, and it said that the KP song was from the Diamonds & Dancefloors album session, and that Ava is credited on the track.

I hope I'm wrong.
halcyonday Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 her manager has no clue what to do know i guess it's vacation's OVER and she's gonna fly to the nearest studio to re-record it with some actual flavor and different lyrics 4
_Fey Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 It's crazy because I see so many older people say when they first heard Say So, Levitating, Espresso, etc. they just assumed it was a Katy song because they still have this mindset from a decade ago that any fun, bouncy pop songs you hear on the radio is by her. When in actuality, THIS is what she's making I can't believe that it's this hard for her to make a well-made radio friendly pop song like she's known for doing.
Bends Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Actually, I think it's going to be a hit. The "chorus" is catchy. 1 1

Jokes really do write themselves Don't bother with him. he's a hater who is always spewing nonsense in Katy related threads. I feel bad for Katy when some of her demos are in the hands of people like ROD she's really over 3

Dzha Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Hold on, the drums are giving Houdini intro. Ugh, her psychedelic pop era is coming.
perfect blue Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 21 minutes ago, RideOrDie said: the only reason she was so open about and rightfully giving dagny credit was because she didn't want another brave moment where everyone would have known it was a ripoff, none of this change the fact that she heavily relies on the style of lesser known niche female artists like bonnie mckee (who carried most of teenage dream and some of prism and you can tell so much of it's actually her vision), sara, dagny and now ava to try and get hits off of their styles, vibes, sounds... why do mods allow this bitter old ****** to terrorize katy threads? I guess all it takes is stale tea about decade old albums and you're given free reign over the site? 4 1 1

It's funny how some people act as if damage control isn't a thing in this industry I'm still curious about the entire album, i hope it's good but this era has been such a massive disaster so far. From announcing the single so far ahead of time and then have that very same single leak THE SAME DAY
BigBangStan Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 Nice visuals, but who approved this song to be the lead single? She needs to get a new team
TryMe Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I love the look and feel of this era. The snippet (tik tok) does not sound promising, however there is a slight chance it gets better, but why in the hell would you snippet the worst part of the song right?
RideOrDie Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 9 minutes ago, Dark Miracles said: Be for real, Ava Max and Sara Bareilles are well-known and mainstream. We know you hate Katheryn, but there's no need to fabricate lies just to bolster your opinion, certainly not when the sampling of Dagny's song was done in a correct manner and when similar things have been done far more egregiously and dubiously by certain other ATRL faves. there's no fabrication dear, we are looking at a history of repeated behaviours - a pattern of relying on huge production teams and smaller, more niche pop artists to try and get hits. bonnie mckee carried teenage dream and some of prism and they completely took her american campy girl style. she's not the songwriter y'all make her out to be, the purely katy led album was one of the boys which is like her best album next to teenage dream. so maybe she should trust herself a bit more with her songwriting and vision instead of pulling from whichever female artist she wants to morph herself into for her next lead. it is also why each of her albums is wildly different from one another and her discography serves inconsistent, sloppy and she has no artistic identity except being campy and childish, which she cornered herself into after ditching her one of the boys vibes. 6 1
