Why are you, the "fans", excusing her behaviour? Some of you are even treating her like a victim or a saint.

That's wild.

as a neutral person on her i'll just say she needs a better song. IDK if she still has it in her to make another TD, ET, CG etc but that's what she needs.

homeboy, listen to Lifetime and Gorgeous snippets…perfection is on the way.

Oh stop. She had Prism hype. No one was expecting a top 4 debut lime Chained. It's a totally different landscape and she's in a totally different spot in her career.

Atrl is acting like Katy Perry is the first artist to peak and decline. It happens to everyone. Very very few artist can be like Taylor Swift or Beyonce

Well don't count your eggs before they hatch, cause beyomce & Taylor are gunna have a downfall too. It hapoens to everyone like u said

If I were her I'd let the hate die out and release the 2nd single next month I guess

Or just f*ck it and no more songs until album release day

Couldn't listen to the song during my shift with the nature of my job but reading this made me think it was worse than I remembered, but then I listened and YUP still a pop banger :jonny5:

It completely grew on me. I think it's great! Wish it were longer! Maybe there's an extended mix out there to be released.

It seems to me that her only chance is to send the song as a soundtrack to the Olympics and say that it is not a single.

Now let's not rewrite history, Never Really Over is regarded by both fans and the critic one of her best songs, and actually did a lot of good for her image after the Witness era.

Was it though? Critics may have said some nice things at first but quickly forgot it. Did it win ANY awards? Did it even get nominated for an award? It's hard for me to believe critics think it's her best if they're not showing appreciation.

This isn't even that bad of a song by any means. It's actually pretty solid. Is it one of her best singles? No, but it bops and the vocals on the chorus are more sung than 85% of Katy's songs.

As for the music video, it's… yeah. No.

Never Really Over, Cry About It Later and HiH are perfect examples why she didn't need to run back to Luke. In her defense she can make good pop songs. WW, despite having Luke involved, is one of her worst singles. So like what tf was the point. That was a choice and I'm glad it's flopping

This curse requires one more cycle, Katy's true come-back will take place late 2026; the same year Taylor Swift faces immense backlash on a spy video recording sent across the globe

from a secret source; showing a side of Taylor we have never seem. This era will potentially have a very minor hit, but nothing major; another reason behind Katy's because of her temporary seperation from Mr. Bloom. That being said, the GaGa/Xtina energy is soon to change it's cycle; with GaGa's energy being hit, resulting in a set-back for her next era, which will under-perform; while Xtina will finally taste huge success once again in her career; 27 is her lucky number; Saggitarius will claim back her deserved crown for just one more career-changing era.

Panick fills the corridors of the Perry team as we speak, already working on-a-sooner than planned expedited plan B and pretend like AWW was released just for its message, to empower women. AWW, which Katy deliberately chose, with a hidden message in reverse = AWW > WWA. A message that stands for "World War Asia" where the next war has already started behind doors, and will immensely escalate in a few months or summer of 2025. The elite and the rich are always warned and informed on the matter prior to such events taking place.

Thank you

Not even close.

JLo has been getting it for a solid 1 1/2 to 2 years now. It started when TikTok discovered Ashanti & Christina Milian "ghost singing" on her songs 20+ years ago and snowballed from there.

That's because Katy doesn't win Awards. But yes, the song was very much appreciated by everyone.

She has won many awards in the past (there's more than the Grammys you know). She even received many Grammy nominations in the past. None for Smile era. I even remember the SAME ATRLS making fun of Never Really Over say "Yes really Over!!" and laughing.

But honestly, I'm tired of this. Arguing/bickering is pointless. I'm not going to argue or even reply to any your posts or any negative posts. If you need to have the "last word" then go for it.  I'm here to celebrate and be happy that an artist I've been listening to since I was 14 is releasing music again. If that upsets anyone, then I honestly don't care.

I agree with you on the negativity part. Don't engage. I guess what you don't understand is that she decided herself to work with a rapist and this is the result? Like, she could've worked with anyone to get this exact same song, and she went with the rapist? If the song wast at least good, she would probably have been excused
