The song is a bop! I actually enjoy it It's interesting, they always wanna make sure she flops first and then months/years later try to praise the same songs they were dragging as "oh wow we really liked these other songs! what happened to her!" see NRO and HIH. 4 4

thismoment Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I can't help but think that if she released Never Really Over now, it would become one of her biggest songs
Patient Zero Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I don't know what to think about this. It's so short and the chorus get repeated 96902 times, the song goes nowhere. It needed a bridge and stronger verses.

Exactly! It's honestly ridiculous and hypocritical. Edited July 12 by FabForAThrowback

24 Hours Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Y'all are doing too much . The song hasn't even been out for 24 hours! This is A BOP, I'm sorry. 8 1

Hobbes Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) The entire thing is giving corporate pride month. Like, concerningly surface level sentiment. And the song blows. And the video is more of the same goofy, unfunny tripe that she's been doing her entire career but without the audience for it. Yikes. Edited July 12 by Hobbes 1

You can see she doesn't look happy on the cover. Songs like Never Really Over and Cry About It Later are definitely about mental health and smiling is her goal, not what's actually happening.

thismoment Posted July 12 Posted July 12 All the payola went to radio it seems. Her Justin Timberlake era has started

I have been on this forum long enough to have seen many of your posts, and I can attest that your unhealthy obsession with Gaga and her fans has been going for years time to move on ugly losers. OT: She's a flower, she's a thorn
Patient Zero Posted July 12 Posted July 12 The "Ahhh haaaaa" after the chorus is so generic by the way. It's basically the same as in Chained to the Rythm. Listened to the song 4 times now. I actually want her to succeed because she's serving interresting looks. I want to see more.
