MasterExpose Posted July 12 Posted July 12 After a good night of sleep and listening to it again, I think WW is joining WIG to my list of sealed songs that I never listened again but I expected it when they said it was aimed at TikTok meaning no bridge, album full of WIG and that one user at the listening party saying if we loved Witness we'll love this I hope the rest of the album is better but from the snippets..

I'm sure the numbers will rise from day to day Megan's independent release HISS debuted at #1. Major label is not doing anything for Katy at the moment with the atrocious playlisting anyways.

Celebrate Joyride's sucess in Kesha's thread instead of saying here that "Katy would be blessed to see even a fraction of these numbers" here. I only said that because another user on here tried to get cute and dragged Kesha directly. Can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen
Katy V.! Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) 1.1m Edit: Lies Lies Lies did 2.5m yesterday. Edited July 12 by Katy V.!

VeniceBeach Posted July 12 Posted July 12 What a tragic song, the flop is deserved, this month-long promo and buying likes everywhere are not helping, perhaps she's saving the usual payola for the net week! 2

kayliah Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I think a top 10 debut is possible its doing ok and theres lota of talk about it. I mean the first 3 days alone shes gonna get lots of streams then well see how therest of the week looks like she could put out an extended or pull out some tricks. 3

They could sit down and rewrite the basic lyrics on verses and create regular bridge. They invest so much money into promotion of the song but absolutely lack on creating it.

corotinho Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I feel like it's going to do something like 2M debut on Spotify, top60 on global charts
Recluse Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I mean can we really be real, half of the people hating on this are doing it because of Kesha and half just want to jump on the bandwagon and don't even care about Kesha. Regardless, is it the best comeback ever? No. Is it a decent song, I think so? Is it the best lead she could have chosen from the snippets - also no, but I can see why she would lead with it. Overall, I think that although she should have chosen to work with someone else on it, that we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Should she get flack for it: sure, but this hate train is disturbing, I think it's better focused at uplifting the now independent Kesha, and less so on bringing down someone else. 8 1

Mattically Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Just listened to it after a break and the lack of a good bridge and a big final chorus kinda kills the experience. It's so underwhelming to me. The pre-chorus is also very good imo, there was potential to build something bigger and more engaging out of this song.

I don't think it's like that. I didn't enjoyed this song cause it's simply weak. It's not a strong single material. I'm sure ATRL would be here for her if she released ''Lifetime'' instead of this. Anyways, of course Dr. Luke collab ruined her return. She sold her soul for a hit and that's what they did at them best? Really? She would do so much better with Max Martin and no one would even talk about Kesha in her threads. It was the worst move she could EVER do. Now she's gonna face internet hate since the song is flopping and no one will be here to stand with her cause i mean... did you sold your dignity for this? 1 1
