I still don't understand how they could decide to work with #HIM when this comeback is her last chance, especially considering the whole theme. It's self-sabotage. I'd just love to know how the idea was sold to her (assuming it wasn't her decision). Like how did no one stop to think "hmm maybe this isn't the best idea?". You have to give it to label execs and artist's teams, some of them really are beyond incompetent. Edited July 8 by FantasyRide 1
CameraFlashes Posted July 8 Posted July 8 we should just take it it's our best excuse for the upcoming flop. 1

Kayzan Posted July 8 Posted July 8 As some "insider" has commented here, he seems to command major record labels and intermediaries. She certainly thought about a resurgence on the pop charts, whether on radio, playlisting, major events. She knew about the incoming backlash, but probably didn't expect it to be that much or didn't care about it all. If there is still anyone left to drop her, this is the time (@thismoment ) Whoever wants to stay here will have plenty of music to dance to (without caring about the imminent flops, critic sland and the doctor's almost total intervention on the album) 4

She will serve sexyness we know that but I hope it's mature and elegant not cringy. THIS Why does she keep ruining her MV's with the stupid cringey stuff. Not even just Swish Swish. NRO could've been a cool glamorous 70s pretty video and then suddenly she does the pressing her face against the glass window thing. Like wtf WHY 2

It is part of her, her trademark, her art. I love that she doesn't take herself too seriously and I think it's funny. She's is not just a pop queen, she is a camp queen and a funny queen!!! 5 1

It's fascinating. I'd love to be a fly on the wall during the negotiations/discussions that took place between her, her team and her label about this era. And there is no shortage of trendy talented producers that would be willing to work with her. From titans like Max to new-comers like S.G. Lewis. I truly don't get why she'd enlist this washed up PR nightmare who hasn't had a pure pop hit in years?? 5
Bends Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Cher saw that "Woman's World" was trending, thought it was about her song and made a reissue of her 2013 album with the same title song. 1

Stunnah Posted July 8 Posted July 8 The most important thing to think about before release is that is, in fact, a woman's (Katy Perry's) world, and we are lucky to be living in it.
kos1692 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 This is Katy's week! I'm excited about the MV and see how the GP will receive her!
XxxKatyCatxxX Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Can't believe this, but my first listening of WW will be on the radio, it's like 2008 all over again. Anyways, the Universal check is in and Katheryn is playing every hour. 1 1
