The memories of sitting at my grandma's house, watching California Gurls video on TV, hearing Teenage Dream on the radio, eating blueberry pierogi made by my granny... Then the entire 2011 era with the E.T.-LFN-TOTGA punch, rooting for the singles to do well, supporting her with each release, waiting for each MV, and having the album on repeat. Ugh, the memories. But also the production style has changed a lot in the last decade. 10 years ago a lot of songs were much more "muffled" to get all the details. Now the vocals are much more up front.
