I don't get the whole narrative that this new snippet is some kind of vindication moment. It still sounds bad. The "and you're lucky to be living in it" part still sounds clunky melodically and the lyrics are still corny… I guess the difference is that now it's just a regular bad song instead of an embarrassingly bad song? I mean congratulations…

And we don't get people that are trying to convince others that this sounds the same. Moving on

Filtered the vocals of the alleged demo and honestly the background vocals are lowkey good! (Does anybody wanna hear them?) There's no glitches in any of the lead or background stem, so despite of it all I'd put my money on it being real, tbh nothing to be ashamed of, demos sound messy, that's why they're DEMOS.

Let's put the discussion to bed already and focus on the real problem of the song, which we all know what (or rather who) it is. :rip:

I mean at the end of the day that first snippet's still real and the main thing that was getting backlash :toofunny2:. That fake leak was just further confirmation for people that the full song wasn't gonna be any better, and now this new snippet's actual confirmation.

I still think the demo is the second part of the chorus.

What we know so far.

-> Both audios uploaded by KATY PERRY are part of the song

-> Song & video coming out in 20 days

The rest of the AI/demo/wtf discussion is speculation only.

But REPORT these leaks to Capitol wherever u see them.

You can't be serious when you say that the "demo" leak is better than the official snippet that Katy uploaded today. The leak sounded too flat and empty. And joining the controversy, I do believe it was AI, the whole song sounds bad and the snippet part sounded good, the distorted voice was noticeable.

Are we surprised the deflection to "but the song is a bop!" has already begun

The truth is that this song is already filled with hate by fake news such as this being an Ava Max reject and the spread of the unfinished version. Some people will hate it no matter how good the song is. The good thing is that internet foruns don't matter in the real world.

Who cares if the leak is AI or demo, lets focus on the actual song. Such a pointless argument.
