cloudbusting Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 some of you are being so dense - it's already outdoing every RCA song she ever dropped after 2 On (All My Friends isn't hers and didn't take off in the US) + it's continuing to grow. that's WITHOUT all the misguided meddling from a big label that she suffered while signed to them. it must feel absolutely vindicating to get this kind of hit with material you can totally stand behind and only a tiny fraction of the resources. This is most likely gonna end up being her biggest selling song outside of 2 On. The only thing labels are actually good for is… radio promo. Thats it. That's all. They don't even develop artists anymore or invest financially…so really what's the point of signing to a major? lol.
