Can't say who made this call but this era's started to really sour me towards Taylor. The fans have done everything to ensure she reaches heights of success that no other living artist could achieve. They are on their debut weeks, this woman has been #1 for weeks/months, on top of having 3 albums at #1 last year around the world

Does it matter? Taylor loves numbers, she's shameless about it (and has been for her entire career). Her marketing team or whatever saw an opportunity to spent another week at #1 and is trying to achieve it. If fans are compulsive enough to buy (another) digital version of an album they can hear on Google Drive like 3 minutes after the order ships, then that's on them lmao.
