While the first benefited from the promo Disney invested in them and saw moderate success while with the company the second only got bigger after leaving their Disney projects. Miley got the full package. The best performer of the trio, can sing and great music too. Selena got the best ear for hits. As someone said, there is no Sabrina/Olivia without Demi/Miley/Selena. But Miley paved the path for all the girls and took all the heat for being provocative so the new girls can do it without any backlash that's just not true. especially if you look at selena's career outside music. there's a huge gap between them, she's one of the most famous female artists of her generation... and i'm not talking only about disney stars. but even so, love sabrina to death, but 'please please please' and 'espresso' being the moment don't put her above Demi yet, for example. being the hottest of the hottest NOW (and thankfully she is cuz i love her) don't erase demi's 2010s decade of career. she can very well surpass Demi and even Selena, but it's not a fact yet. being famous for 10 years > #1 hit.
