Digitalism Posted June 5 Posted June 5 It's funny how some of you admit you act a fool and give the excuse that you're young. If you can a see a grown up is being unhinged you should be able not to do it yourself. There's no excuse.
Delirious Posted June 5 Posted June 5 That moment when 50% of ATRLers are literally older than 25 But to be serious, imo noone is ever to old to stan. I mean if straight guys can like and stan football guys then why not artists? 1
Kern Posted June 5 Posted June 5 The question should be - at what year do you think ATRL should leave the internet 5
glitch Posted June 5 Posted June 5 There's no age limit on discussing music with like minded people. I think some people on here are insane but I don't think age has had much to do with their condition tbqh... 2

I don't stan for her but isn't she a grown woman? That would be like saying if you are 30+ and stanning for an 18 year old house dj/producer there's cause for concern 1
Totami Legend Posted June 5 Posted June 5 (edited) Never actually joined stan twitter and I use this site only to read opinions on the news. Not everyone is here to put women against each other iykwim Edited June 5 by Totami Legend 2
.Odyssey. Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I low key considered it when I was in my mid 30s and still coming on here to see Madonna updates during the Drowned World Tour, but here I am 25 years later and still in stan wars with Swifties and Rodrigans!
PoisonPill Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Pulse Music Board has stans on there who are literally in their 60s I don't think there's an age limit to stanning pop stars, but someone probably shouldn't be investing time in toxic stan wars once they're done with school and in the real world.
WildAmerican Posted June 5 Posted June 5 (edited) I'm in my mid 20s and feel too old sometimes to be here Joined in 2017 and was a capital M-mess when i first joined. If I'm still here past 30, something's gone wrong Edited June 5 by WildAmerican 1 1

This. Also in my perception it's not even about age, that kind of 'humor' was long left in 2010 1

TROJAN Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Some stay online and obsessively stalk you for months on end, well into their 40's.
AMIT Posted June 5 Posted June 5 If there's no harm being done to other people and stuff, why should I care about what other people spend their time on? 2
Afterglow Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Tbh im tired of the age discussion coming up in every medium. Who cares who's 30, 20, 45, 55, 60!? 2

There's an age limit on liking pop rock now? Some of you guys are so miserable and caught up in the optics of ageism it's sad 8 hours ago, Delirious said: That moment when 50% of ATRLers are literally older than 25 But to be serious, imo noone is ever to old to stan. Gesamtkunstwerk Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) As long as you enjoy discussing pop music and culture, why should you leave ? I've been here since I was 13, I'm 25 now, might as well keep going till the site shuts down Edit: I forgot my own age Edited June 7 by Gesamtkunstwerk 1
Batsy Armada Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Any age where a user feels disconnected from the conversations and topics being discussed. There's no magical age where someone just drops all of their interests and decides to no longer engage with them, online or otherwise. ATRL, pop culture, is a past time just like any other. It's virtually all relevant to our interests, which is what keeps users coming back. And, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if a number of users here were approaching 30—with a considerable number already being in their 30s. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'd be willing to bet most of the people on online forums, especially more niche ones, and Reddit nowadays are actually older. 1
Leptine Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Not sure why people in here keep acting as if nowadays majority of people don't spend their time commenting news and facts on social media, elderly included, whatever you comment on Facebook, TikTok, Reddit or in here, it's the same. 1
bliaz Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Until death. It's in the contract you agree to when you register on ATRL. Our souls belong to their servers
flower moon Posted June 7 Posted June 7 the limit does not exist.. i want to know what all the grandtwinks are thinking
Dante Posted June 8 Posted June 8 it really depends on what you're doing. if you are obsessing over these popstars and hating on them you should leave by the age of 16/17 but if you are discussing new music and pop culture in general i dont think age is important. there are 50y/o on forums and s**t 2
