Batsy Armada Posted June 5 Posted June 5 People tell me that I look 10+ years younger than I am, for better and for worse. I don't feel like I'm taken seriously because of that, sometimes. I workout regularly, stay hydrated, eat well, don't stay out in the sun for long and keep stress at a minimum. It's only realized I'm older whenever I start talking about my work history and the timing of things I experienced.

Genius1111 Posted June 7 Posted June 7 (edited) I am of East Asian descent while I live in Southeast Asia. I look young, even by East Asian standards and I can confirm that I don't have any routine to make myself look young besides running on the treadmill every day while simultaneously watching BL/GL dramas on Youtube. I can confirm that I do not get enough sleep on a daily basis, because I want to post in ATRL LOL. Last year, I visited Macau and I wanted to walk through a casino to find my relatives who were at a restaurant. One of the security personnel (of South Asian descent, I think) then demanded to see my passport. I didn't think much because I thought it was a requirement for everyone. After that, he remarked, "Are you really this age?" or something like that as he couldn't believe that I was born in the 20th century. There's some possibility that I am older than him ,ha! When I did a one day trip to Tajikistan from Samarkand, Uzbekistan, I had a cute 18-year-old tour guide (along with an older driver). The teenage guide (who is a lanky guy who enjoys boxing and intends to study engineering) probably thought I was 20 years old or so. He asked me whether it was my 1st trip to Central Asia and I replied that I had visited Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan 6 years prior (back when Astana hosted the World Expo). At that time, he probably thought I misspoke and thought I had visited 6 months prior. Later on, we had some free time at a deserted beach at a mountain lake and I managed to get him to strip down to his underwear to enjoy the chilliness of the surroundings (don't worry, we just chatted) and we continued chatting about my travels and then he was dumbfounded when he found out that I was theoretically old enough to be his dad if I had underaged sex. At the end of the day, I also showed him my passport to verify that I was not lying about my age. In addition, I am told by some people that I also sound young. I guess I was born this way. Marry The Gods Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I'm 31 and people think I'm 20 or 21. Both of my parents also look a lot younger than their 50s.
Venice B Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I used to like when people said I look way younger but nowadays I hate it, I feel like I don't fit with my age group
