sabalicious Posted September 24 Posted September 24 i fear juno is gonna be the read your mind of this album 1
Topaz Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I love Bed Chem I thought at first Good Graces was gonna be an instant smash, it seems theyre saving it for next summer. Bed Chem fall single and and Don't Smile winter/spring single. Such a good ballad.
M!X Posted September 25 Posted September 25 (edited) What has been the consensus on Sharpest Tool around here? I honestly think she snapped so hard on this one, it feels like she is so in her element lyrically Edited September 25 by M!X 7
needs Posted September 25 Posted September 25 (edited) This album is ******* fantastic? I was on the fence about Sabrina for a long time, I always found her funny and creative, just not particularly interesting. I still think she can be a bit plodding and predictable, but I've been made a fan with this record. Aside from having all these bangers, there's a story and she can really, really write. I love a female writer with wit and humor, we've been sorely missing that in top 40. I'm also so tired of Jack and yet his work here is pretty solid and maybe even, refreshing? For him at least. And I'm hard on him because I know he can do so much better than the maudlin showing he's given us lately, in the years after the genius that was 2020 for him. Sharpest Tool and Don't Smile, especially? Like just rip my heart out then, girl. I could go on and on about this record but, like, sheesh dude. So 70s, so breezy, so beachy, and lowkey so subversive too. Edited September 25 by needs 2
Helix Posted September 25 Posted September 25 The Album had a huge boost on Spotify US after the start of the tour. And it seems like the songs will keep on rising for the next few days cause my Tiktok feed is filled with viral videos from the tour with 500k+ likes Tbh the whole tour has so many moments that could go viral. Her mind The Album tracks on Spotify US: 8(+2) Bed Chem 28(+8) Good Graces 44(+22) Juno 62 (+42) Coincidence 75 (+51) Sharpest Tool 127 (+42) Slim Pickins 160 (Re) Don't Smile Seems like that especially Juno is getting some well deserving traction. Kinda hope it will become the Wildflower of the Era. Don't Smile still deserves more love 2

Glad the GP is recognizing the best song on the album. 3

Glad the GP is recognizing the best song on the album. We love to see the best song on the Album winning Actually the GP is recognizing the whole Album which is such a feat on its own. For example Billies Hit me Hard and Soft did around 25 million streams on it's 34th day. Edited September 26 by Helix 3

Now we will see how the longevity is going forward.

Acuminatus Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I need a movie inspired by the 2000s that has Juno featured in its soundtrack. And add in other songs like Pretty isn't Pretty by Olivia Rodrigo 2

YASSSS at her still booking those promo slots! Wonder if she's gonna perform Taste or she has a plan to start promoting Bed Chem as the new single since they have slowly promoting that on radio 1

But HMHAS is such a smash album that being on a similar level alone is an extremely impressive feat as it is! 2
Julia Fox Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Gonna close the round tomorrow since I'm exhausted after work today so… https://atrl.net/forums/topic/485086-sabrina-carpenter-short-n-sweet-💋-round-5-what-a-surprise/page/19/#comments
Lion Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I'm obsessed with Busy Woman, we need it on streaming platforms when Taste, Bed Chem, Juno & Good Graces are done smashing 😍 2
fridayteenage Posted September 28 Posted September 28 yesterday, the 2 biggest gainers in the US Spotify top 100 vs. a week ago were both by her: juno +131k good graces +64k Other songs: coincidence +43k sharpest +33k feather +21k bed chem +19k nonsense +8k slim pickins -3k PPP -52k espresso -76k taste -116k 3
pinkbowvintage Posted October 1 Posted October 1 She was fantastic live tonight. She played Busy Woman and I might've been one of the only ones who knew the words

Radio needs to give it the push it deserves already. Should be Top 10 on Pop instead of them taking FOREVER and it middling in the mid-to-low teens.
HealerKirby Posted October 1 Posted October 1 kinda impressed at how much I still enjoy listening to the whole album at this point any recommendations on her old albums to explore? (I only heard the hits from her previous one) 2

(I only heard the hits from her previous one) well emails i can't send it's clearly the best work out of the other albums so you should listen to that. Then you should try to listen to singular act 1 that's a very R&B album filled with bops and sultry vibes. Not sure if you should check her other records tbh. Maybe if you liked singular act 1 a lot maybe you should try singular act 2 and that's it. 1
halcyonday Posted October 1 Posted October 1 This is my AOTY this year I fear Bed Chem her best song iktr 1
