Espresso I know the likelihood of her performing anything pre-EISC is slim to none but her first first four albums have so many gems on them I'd love to her Thumbs and Paris live. I think Sue Me, Paris, Honeymoon Fades Looking At Me are the only chances from the songs pre-EICS to be performed Thumbs could be a great option too since she said good things about that song on an interview for the first time in YEARS. But who knows? 3

She did 'Paris' at Outside Lands so it's not too far fetched. 2

I would love Paris and maybe prfct too (which I forgot to mention) if she wanted another song from Act II, the production and vocal layering of the latter is divine and one of my favorite songs of hers
Cruel Summer Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Okay so I finally listened to this and like maybe she did make some points and maybe Sharpest Tool has me hooked a little bit because maybe it's literally incredible and I can't even articulate what exactly it is about the song that hits? but it's definitely something 1
shinyshimmery Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Okay so after 3 days on repeat here's my thoughts and rank: 1. Juno - the epitome of pop music... she nailed this song 1000% 1000/10 2. Taste - the fleetwood mac vibe to this song is just 10/10 3. Please^3 - dolly dolly dolly 9.5/10 4. Good Graces - delicious early 2000s pop music 8/10 5. Don't smile - yummy... I cannot wait to be on a plane vibing 8/10 6. Bed Chem - Sexy, sultry, seductive 7/10 7. Sharpest Tool - Love the vibe of this song too 7.5/10 8. Coincidence - I swear I hear 'What I like about you' at the start of this song 7/10 9. Dumb & Poetic - love her tone in this... just not one of my fave songs 6/10 10. Espresso - Sorry, I didn't really like this one from the start :/ 11. Slim Pickins - I feel like the music doesn't match the vocals? am I trippin? like the music is too fast or something... 5/10 12. Lie to Girls - I like the message of the song... it's just boring. 4/10

Cain Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I fear I'm a little bit obsessed with this, the bridge of Taste, Good Graces, the one two punch of Sharpest Tool and Coincidence, and later Dumb & Poetic to complete the Mendes dragging trinity, the cute california songs Bed Chem and Juno, and the absolute mood that is Don't Smile, and of course Espresso Yeah she made a very very cute album 2
Cain Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I think Good Graces, Bed Chem and Juno could all be successful singles
Topaz Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I hope Expresso goes number one for album release and next week Taste can go number one with Radio finally pulling in. 1
