Just finished it. It's actually a fantastic pop album overall. I really enjoyed it as a whole.

Makes me want to listen to her other albums now. The Antonoff tracks were my lesser favorites but still enjoyable.

 

My favorites were:

my GOD this album is so SMOOTH and SILKY.

 

it gets better and better with each listen as the melodies cement in your mind and start to really HIT.

Juno feels like a classic radio hit to be honest. The way it has notable verses, pre-chorus, chorus and even a refrain taken out exactly from the pre-chorus, a break and a bridge and all works so perfectly and it doesn't even feel like an almost 4 minute length song ugh

 

the "you make me wanna make you fall in love" are taken straight from Katy Perry biggest hits ever ugh it's a multi-format smash waiting to happen!

It's my fave song tbh. The production is so fun besides being a sad mid tempo song. Also the lyrics is so mature if you think about it! I love it!

This is a super solid and fun pop album, she delivered Since the songs are consistent and flow well it feels like it goes by way too quickly, I hope we get a deluxe down the line with more tracks. 

 

My current faves are Sharpest Tool, Bed Chem, Juno, and Don't Smile

 

Taste and Lie to Girls didn't click at first, but I've grown to like them. The bridge of Lie to Girls especially hits hard. 

 

The only song I'm still iffy on is Dumb & Poetic, but I appreciate the ruthless dragging of the lyrics as someone who likes mess.

I was thinking of how much it reminded me of TD era Katy. It sounds so massive and euphoric, it's such a joyful song and I love it.
