AvadaKedavra Posted August 24 Posted August 24 (edited) I just listened to the album—my first Sabrina album. Honestly, I thought it would be full of songs like "Espresso" and dance-pop tracks, but I see that many are pop with acoustic sprinkles and mid-tempo. Was "Espresso" recorded at the last minute when the album was mostly complete, planned, and nearly finished? Because it does feel a bit different to the rest of the songs. I'm not usually a fan of albums like this with a lot of instrumention cause im more electronic, but I really enjoyed it. The songs are so airy and sunny even with the petite sad moments. This is an album I'd play in the summer while driving in my convertible with the heart broken but relieved. "Taste" was a great choice for the third single. "Coincidence" to me should be the 4thsingle—it's so catchy.Love the guitar strumming here. I loved "Good Graces" and "Juno." I also loved the atmospheric, chill tone of "Don't Smile" and "Bed Chem." She has such a beautiful vocal tone. So delicate and pretty The Jack Antonoff tracks aren't bad, but they're honestly the weakest part of the record to me. They're the most disappointing moments of the album. He ruins everything he touches. He sucks. So washed up. Just go away garrapata chupasangre I think it's a fun record. I believe an expanded edition with some slightly different songs or poppier one wouldn't be a bad idea. It's a cute album. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable. Very laidback and mellow. 8.5/10. Im done with all the divas releasing depressive music. I will be back to this definitely Edited August 24 by AvadaKedavra 1

A Million Lights Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Can Espresso hit #1 this week? It's still doing good on radio right
AFullMoonlight Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I think putting the song most deserving of being listened to outside the singles dead last on the track list is criminal. 1
TryMe Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I can't decide whether I like this over Emails I can't send. The highs are very high on this album. 1

xluvxduffxmusicx Posted August 24 Posted August 24 The way two of the songs on the album remind me of tracks from Carrie's last album and one from Hayden Panettiere's first season of Nashville melodically. Out Of That Truck -> Taste Faster -> Bed Chem Undermine -> Dumb and Poetic I stan
