kellebrity98 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 7 minutes ago, swiftlyss said: how is this possible with the partial streams being less than billies ? billie's highest streaming number was with lunch at around 12 million but it fall back to 9 million after like 2 days but please please please had a nearly 13 million high and pulled 12 million days for numerous days, while espresso had kinda the same run as billie's highest, lunch. let's not forget the fact that billie had 10 tracks while Sabrina has 12 but 10 new with the 2 singles that still around 6-7 million everyday so since it's album release day it is expected that both singles will pull more than 10 million alone (ppp had the same effect on espresso, the song reached it's highest count during the new single release), also she just dropped a crazy video for taste which gained tons of social media buzz. also sabrina is bigger tiktok wise and since tiktok shapes streaming we can expect a high debut. i'm not saying that HMHAS did not have any viral moment cause chihiro had that before the drop and lunch but that was all. boaf gained streams after weeks of the album drop and now sabrina has already 2 viral hits and taste now. During the biggest day of the 2 singles they gained 23,7 millions streams which is ~32% of Billie's debut numbers and in the partial day numbers of sns those songs are not counted. 13 minutes ago, Human Fly said: Maybe she's a lot more local than Billie and more than %65 of her streams will come from US spotify. not true. for example: june 14th PPP + Espresso: 23.7 M (US:8.3M) = ~35% of the streams came from the US.
D.Va Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Don't Smile needs a cute moment on TikTok. It's ******* gorgeous. 2
KatyPrismSpirit Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I've been listening to Taste & Good Graces all day and I'm so obsessed with this album 1
Nico Robin Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Overall I enjoyed emails more but Dont Smile is THAT song!!!
MatiRod Posted August 23 Posted August 23 This is really great. She's refined her persona and voice as a songwriter and it feels very modern yet also timeless. I do wish "Feather" was on here though because it could use one more song with a groove.
Tylerbv Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I didn't really like Espresso but I really liked Please Please Please. I'm actually loving the entire album on first listen She's got some fun lyrics and the production is current. So far, Juno is the standout to me. 3

They could have put Read Your Mind a pull a Radar situation but well… it's not like she needs it, the album is great from what it is and it's also doing great so Edited August 23 by Julia Fox

Raphy23 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Is the audio threading glitchy effect in Sharpest Tool intentional?

SharGaga Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) Just gave the album my first legal stream and it looks like this one is going to be a grower for me. Sonically I appreciate the diversity but it also sounds like she took a chip from a different popstar for every song and tried to make it all stick together. She sounds beautiful and it has a good mix of bops, chill, laid back and acoustic songs. Personally it's a bit too radio friendly for me and not a lot of memorable tracks. This should easily become a success and a true breakthrough for her into the mainstream. Congrats to her on the new album! Edited August 23 by SharGaga 1
