thatsmydemi Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Lie to girls is HITTING Probably the best track now for me. That bridge is one of the best things I've heard this year

Harrys Hairflip Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Im glad we can agree Juno is the levitating for this album, get that hit sis. Also slim pickins need to be sent to country radio
Brooklyn Baby Posted August 23 Posted August 23 The Jack songs are the worst on the album. Pop girls really need to STOP working with this man 1 1

The highs are not that high, to be honest. There's not a single track that truly stands out production-wise or simply because it's "so good". Sadly, songs in red and yellow are probably songs I'll never hear again but who knows, they may grow on me. Those in green have already been added to my liked tracks playlist. I've got a problem with her. I can't connect with her voice or emotions in the slow/ballad department in this album. Lie To Girls and Slim Pickins are the only exception because the production is actually good. Highlight of the album: the bridge on Lie To Girls. Coincidence is literally a career highlight, please re-listen and come back later. 1
My Tears Ricochet Posted August 23 Posted August 23 This album is full of personality Her lyricism is so witty and clever. I enjoyed all songs except Lie to girls( What a disjointed, unmelodious mess). My faves at the moment are Bed Chem, Juno and Don't smile. Some of the country tunes reminded me of Can't blame a girl for trying🥹 1
kaylejudicator Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) That's a cute album, easy to listen but definitely not a strong project. People saying it's AOTY material have lost their mind. HMHAS, ES, CC, Brat, TRAFOAMP are all stronger projects, more original, with a stronger identity. Short n sweet is a little too bland an generic for me, Juno sounds exactly like an old Katy Perry song. Good braves prod is so outdated. There is nothing that come close to Espresso catchyness and replay value tbh. Espresso may be generic but it's an absolute banger and certainly not bland, can't say the same about the album. This album is like RO, if you all praise and eat this **** while not doing for RO then you're all just sheep following hype and trend, because it's not any better than RO, they're both cute album that aren't bad but aren't good either. Edit: seeing everybody's confused reactions to this, let me clarify this is my first listen. Of course I will listen to the album more than once and it will change (I liked it so there's no reason I won't replay it). I was about to run in here to say my three favs are please please please, dumb and poetic and sharpest tool 2
Jenni Posted August 23 Posted August 23 This album is not bad, but I think it could've been better. Some songs are cute, but there's nothing really mind blowing, I was expecting something more upbeat and fun to dance to, but half of the album is just country songs that are kinda underwhelming. I think it's a solid 6/10.

I hate when musicians catfish us with bops as singles and then more than half of the album is slow I have never listened to a Sabrina album before, and despite what I said, I'm on my second listen. It's not what I expected, a bit too slow at moments for my taste, but I don't mind it and it's an easy listen. The singles are definitely standouts and Juno is probably the 4th one. Jonathan Posted August 23 Posted August 23 I love this project, I don't really dislike any song off it. The title so accurate too, very easy to listen to! Top 5: Don't Smile Juno Bed Chem Good Graces Coincidence (love how silly this is) You can tell Sabrina has been waiting for this breakout moment, she has arrived chi 2
TMRA Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Cute album. I like the funny and clever lyrics, this is so easy to listen to. She did released the best songs as singles tho. 7/10 for me after 2 listens 2
