I literally came here to say exactly this. It's exactly the same. Could literally be an interpolation. 

Okay I've just finished this album and I'm sad because it's not doing anything for me. Taste is amazing and Juno and Good Graces I can already feel are growers. Hopefully this is one of those albums that after the initial disappointment, it grows on me for what it is. I think I was just expecting a bunch of Espressos and that's on me.

Lukewarm on ATRL / Reddit means instant smash. See Espresso, PPP, TTPD, DWAS, etc

It was clear from the moment we heard Slim Pickins' that this album would be more sonically based around PPP. Espresso was just the most obvious hit because it's the most explicitly pop. The other songs sound more nuanced and detailed.

Honestly this for me is AOTY. It's got everything I need. Some of the album tracks are truly giving me Fleetwood Mac with a sprinkle of glitter. Obsessed.

  I haven't had a chance to listen to the album yet as it's not midnight yet.  With most new albums fans always clamor for all the awards it will win.  I haven't heard as much of that on here so I figure it won't be as strong as expected.  Sabrina's main competitors in the Pop field will be Billie and Chappell so all I meant is that a weaker album will favor them come awards season.  It's not that complicated or malicious...

My days,I love the writing on Sharpest Tool. So lush and chill. Production is so crisp.

 

Bad Chem reminds me of Ashanti!!! WHAT???!! INTO YOU???? ,am I the only one? WAIT THIS IS HARD. so far the only skiip is coincidence.

Bad Chem is my in my top 3

Dumb and Poetic is beautiful,but the lyrics seem so dated and odd,idk about them lyrics.

 

LOL,I love Slim Pickins,love the country/pop and R&B throughout the album,makes it consistent.

Would love to hear this with Miley actually

 

WOW Juno is a classic pop song wow. This is great.

 

Also the vocals are so great throughout the record

 

Don't Smile is so smoooooth oh my days. It sounds like butter.

Such a great pop record. Taste,Bad Chem and Don't Smile are my faves.

Also I think emails has better highlights ,but this is overall the better body of work.

Espresso is a gp friendly smash obviously people expect same kind of songs, but with AntonOFF it was obvious the songs are ballads.
