RoseBud Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Anyone willing to expose their early first listen rankings...
SpaceOddity Posted August 22 Posted August 22 It's the perfect blend of gen z bedroom pop, country and girly hooks all accentuating the Sabrina selling point: humorous singer songwriter. It's simple and fun enough to be digested by the locals and I bet that's what they wanted to achieve. It's not an impressive SUPER POP statement album but commercially at this stage for now, it's a smart move. 3

West Coast Posted August 22 Posted August 22 get that viral tweet/straight sex icon status/LGBTQ+ awareness moment
Mark Rih Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Basically half of the album is good, meanwhile the other half is… Jack Antonoff. As a society we should do something to stop him because we've reached the limit. I liked Taste, Good Graces, Bed Chem, Juno and Don't Smile (which is amazing!! My instant fave)

kellebrity98 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 love how slim pickins rank higher in Scandinavian New Music Friday playlists, that track is literally the album theme: some moanin and bitchin
DownBoy Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I somehow expected more after the two Singles. I miss smashes like Espresso - Juno is the only song that kinda stuck with me. The album as a body of work feels safe/forgetable.

Julia Fox Posted August 22 Posted August 22 You all hating the Jack tracks but Sharpest Tool lyrics and production is heavenly. Also not them adding a guitar chord that emiulates the Grindr notification sound when she says "gay awakening" on "Slim Pickins" idk if it was intentional but kii
