PoisonedIvy Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I'm proud of them Hopefully the practices they've implemented become commonplace. Artists are usually the first initiators of change, since they have the most broad influence. Others will hopefully be inspired by the positive impact this has had. 3 2
Reflektor Posted June 3 Posted June 3 That's pretty cool -- though I'd like to see what constitutes this reduction as carbon offsetting alone is a pretty dangerous game to play with the state things are currently in. But sustainability in general will be important for live music going forward and I'm all for expanding that conversation.

They have a sustainability website breaking down their plans from power to merchandise. I read it when the tour was announced and there is a lot of great stuff! 2

40_L3VE Posted June 3 Posted June 3 What does that even mean when you tour for 2 1/2 years and fly all over the globe (multiple times) for 177 concerts? Looking at their schedule, they did Middle America - North America - Europe - South America - Europe (again) - North America (again) - Asia - Australia - Asia (again) - Europe (3rd time) - Australia (again). That just seems wasteful. 1 1
