Wicked Posted June 29 Posted June 29 If y'all liked KRITs feature you should check this album out, one of the best of 2017 I'm shocked she got him, Miami Blue is so good. She should've got a beat from him too. 4
Automatic Posted June 29 Posted June 29 (edited) The individual tracks are performing better than Traumazine on AM edit: I'm also realizing the album never reached #1 on AM. Traumazine deserved more. Edited June 29 by Automatic 3
Cotton Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I get that people wanted some more introspection on this album but Traumazine did just that and it was paid dust outside her fanbase if I'm being honest. And regardless of what people say..Megan's biggest songs are her ratchet anthems & this always seems to be the case for female rappers despite cries from people wishing that they could switch up the lyrical content. Regardless of all this though I do wish that the concept was a little more consistent throughout the project but this is by far her best album. The production is insane, I believe the choruses/hooks are catchier than her most recent outputs and overall there's a song out there for everyone. 2

But she has always been stronger on AM. Edited June 29 by Cotton
Jimmy. Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Kinda disappointing Spotify numbers but yeah rappers typically do better on AM so it's not a big deal.
Frozen99 Posted June 29 Posted June 29 i always liked just a song here and there, never a full album but this is really fire! also just when i started watching JJK last week, queen releases this BOP ARIGATOOOOOOO & where dem girls at is such a bop why did she say she had to change the names when she literally says Gojo? lol 1
Green Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I don't understand why she released BOA as a single when she had a bop like Where Them Girls At on the album She needs to push it as a single now US Apple 27 NEW Megan Thee Stallion - Where Them Girls At 1
Braz Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Not that she would do numbers outside the US, but the midnight local release harmed all her NMF streams for Where Them Girls At.
liquiddiamonds Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I think she pushed BOA because Wanna Be was taking off. Now Wanna Be is peaking, so it makes sense to push something from her own album to give it legs. I think this will do better than Traumazine in the long run and give her another Gold plaque. Consistent queen 1

Catch Me Posted June 29 Posted June 29 "Otaku Hot Girl" is the stand out for me, I thought I'd really **** with "Where them Girls at" based on the snippet she realized but I didn't. I'm tired of always knowing what she'll rap about.
rabbitmoon Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Miami Blue, Where Them Girls At, Moody Girl, Rattle, BOA, Find Out, Otaku Hot Girl, and Cobra are on constant repeat
actirenaissance Posted June 29 Posted June 29 hopefully the bet performance and the tour pushes the album, as long as it does better than traumazine idc 1

Relampago. Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Cute numbers especially for an independent artist! Very solid album too, which is difficult to get, not everybody has that. 4
MEGA Posted June 29 Posted June 29 solid numbers glad she's holding off on visuals let the hotties pick the next single
Aethereal Posted June 29 Posted June 29 (edited) Can this album get a gold certification in US? Listening to it now. Edited June 29 by Aethereal
