Anyway, more weak elementary bars from Cardi. Nobody is listening to her IRL and it's showing with each track she jumps on.

She is a flop currently. But so was Ms Petty from 2018-2022, so I wouldn't count her out just yet

All of the rap girls sans Nicki are flopping, and that's because Nicki is from a different wave with a solid fanbase. Cardi has been struggling for a while, but she at least has enough solo support to push something like Enough into the top 10. Ice Spice just dropped her summer single with a famous sample and it flopped to oblivion, worse than any recent Cardi song, and she's the supposed hot thing of the moment. It did worse than Megan's BOA, which was also an underperformance. Only girl with a current hit is Sexyy. The field is open for a new rap girl to arrive eating and I'm just sitting and waiting

what? If Sexyy Red or Glorilla are flopping then so is Nicki. 

Its true Cardi is flopping but the standards are mad high for her. All her releases are supposed to hit top 10 for 20 weeks or else she's a flop. Nicki had released 800 flops before a song like FTCU stuck around for a while and nobody says she's flopping. And she's been like this during her whole career, releasing tons of flops until one song finally works. It's the natural cycle for female rappers, Cardi was an anomaly for a few years but now her popularity has obviously decreased a lot and she cant be having hits left and right anymore

Nicki debuted with 228k sales for her last album and her tour is set to become the second biggest rap tour of all time... She is outpacing every girl 16 years in the game. Where are GloRilla and Sexyy Red doing these numbers?

 

And even if PF2 is already down in the 100s on the BB200, the era is not a flop at all. Just look at the hits (SFG, RRDS, Everybody & FTCU) she had. Everybody was very big on radio, FTCU and Red Ruby Da Sleeze did well despite zero promo (both over 150M streams). SFG is a bonafide global hit that also went #1. She's fine.

Like @KatyPrismSpirit said, I'm looking at the bigger picture here, not only sales. Nicki is on a sold out world tour and her album is platinum. That's still well above all of the girls right now.

 

Meg is the only playing as smart with her career by booking an Arena tour, trying to solidify her name as a touring act and putting music out there while the hype is hot. I root HARD for that girl.

 

Cardi is just damn lazy. And everyone here knows I **** with her music, but she lost her hunger around Hot **** and she ain't seeing that fire from 2018-2021 anytime soon. If it's supposed to be her Miseducation serve it's givin Sky Ferreira instead. I also think her returning to Offset left a bad taste on people's mouth once again. She's lucky bardigang is still there and, like i said, they can make her stuff chart or even go top 10 when the GP ain't checking on her.
 

Glo comes and goes, unfortunately. She's on a back to back roll, but dropping a mixtape instead of an album is a red flag imo She's at least showing some consistency and surprising us. Look at Ice: well received EP and struggling with all of the singles for her debut Y2K. Sexyy is supported by big names and I can see her scoring a few more hits down the road

 

JT can't score a hit for her life, Careesha is in that Diddy mess (not like she is missed) and Doechii wasted her breakthrough moment (still **** with her artistically). Doja had two hits, but her deluxe made zero noise this year. It's just been a weak 2024 for rap girls. we're in need of fresh blood…
