Trump is going to break fundraising records from this. And any hit he takes in the polls will be short-lived. Unfortunately, this was the least serious of his legal cases and the gp doesn't really get or even care about the crime involved.

You guys this is like, getting really really bad. This isn't something to celebrate. The parallels between Trump and Hitler are becoming even more clear and it's disgusting to see.

History is literally repeating itself in front of our eyes. Most people agree that America needs a major change and that's exactly the stance Hitler took when he rose to power. And now this… it couldn't be more over

The Hitler/Trump comparisons are nothing new, but I hope people don't lose sight of the parallels just because they're obvious. I've been unnerved about these 20s echoing the 1920s. People sometimes think Societal Acceptance for Marginalized Groups™ progresses linearly, like "it's always getting better", but right-wing backlash hits hard during economic downturns. The 1920s were a period of medical innovation for transsexual surgeries and researcher empathy for trans spirituality at the Hirschfeld Institute in Germany, only for this vanguard of trans knowledge and community to be destroyed by the Nazis in 1933.

Hitler rose to power amidst an economic depression in Germany. I feel like we're headed towards similar conditions of economic stress nowadays because of climate change, etc. (At least the United States economy is inflating right now.) I think it's true that when society as a whole struggles, the lowest common denominator of people take it out on minorities because it's easier than challenging the system. I do sense that the "wokeness" of the 2010s is ceding in fashionability towards conservative vibes on social media nowadays. I've seen a couple threads on ATRL reporting social media comment sections getting more homo/transphobic.

It's all fun and games until this boosts him in the polls and nails the coffin for Genocide Joe.

No lol. Appealing a jury verdict is incredibly hard unless there was some major issue, which was not present with this case.

Yep, which is why it is so funny seeing leftists pray he wins. They cry about genocide but then want Trump to win so he can genocide immigrants and trans people. Make it make sense. :deadbanana:
