And what exactly is wrong with this?! Male artists need to do more of this during their performances.

Nearly everyone here with a problem with this does this at least one or more times a day or several times a week and does even sluttier things so they need to take several seats, or just get back on their knees. I mean, are they really in a position to say anything? It really is not nice to talk with your mouth full.

girl be calm

OT : this thread, the sam smith lashings… :ahh:

there's like.... so many. most of the male artists I listen to are queer and most of them don't regularly sing about sex. if you're not looking for them its not their fault lmao.

Key word here is 'famous'. Idgaf about indie gays, you could probably only count the number of famous and current queer male artists on one hand

Not the gays being prude here but in real life being cumdumps and passed-around bottoms in party....

I hope the mainstream gets even classless, explicit and even more vulgar. It's what the new generation needs to be

atrl is such a strange place. whenever a picture of a random straight white man gets posted here you will reek up the thread spreading your unwashed , toilet tissue hanging cigarette butt smelling holes begging to be destroyed but the minute you see a gay man in a gay space singing into a microphone on his knees all of a sudden you turn into nuns :deadbanana2: go get dick PLEASE

OT: I watched other videos from this tour and mama him singing into a microphone dick is the least of the issues :dies: #FindTheNote

youve been CLEARING a lot lately omg :ahh:

The way y'all not only allow but celebrate this grotesque, oversexualized charicature of a gay man. You realize this contributes to how people view us.. right? To parade this around.. just a mess, I'm more embarrassed than anything. We truly have nothing more to offer than this?

But above all, this **** is just cringy as hell

What did Azealia Banks say? Puberty done hit that aged white ass and made him look goofy as hell doing this, smh in real life

Don't understand the outrage. Pop girls do sexual stuff on stage too and we live for it, so why is this such an issue?

There's nothing wrong with this and he he can do whatever he wants, I'm just not entertained:michael:

Overtly sexual pop stars, gay or straight, is such a cliché at this point and super uninteresting to me.

There are enough homosexual men who are "normal" like Neil Patrick Harris, for example. If someone wants to be homophobic, they will always find a reason. You decide for yourself how you see something. It's only a problem if LGBT+ artists do it, but if your pop girls do it, of course it's okay. That's hypocritical and homophobic.

I don't find it that controversial. He's a pop singer and not an opera singer. You often see that in the pop community. Didn't Miley do that too? Many homosexual men have internalized homophobia. The constant attacks against Sam Smith, Nas, the exaggerated reactions, etc.

A Swiftie finding sexual themes, topics etc uninteresting is not surprising

I loved it.

I thought it was kind of beautiful. It could have been tacky, but they quickly turned into an artsy pose a second after.

He is one of us guys. He is just living his pop girl fantasy.

Those of y'all getting so worked up because some people in this thread don't like this little stunt are just as weird as the people in here acting like it's the most profuse thing they've ever witnessed.

No one is required to scream "YAAAAS omg slay twink" because a gay male pop star pretended to deep throat a microphone. Troye did that because it was meant to be shocking and illicit a reaction and that's what people are doing- reacting.

Is it the craziest thing I've seen? No. Are some people doing the most over it? Idk, maybe. But it's a fact that doing stuff like this publicly isn't classy and it's definitely trashy and it's supposed to be, that's the point. So don't be offended when people who don't like trashy behavior say they don't like trashy behavior. Some of y'all are in your 30s acting like you need to defend this behavior with your life. There are more important issues going on in our world and even within our own community than some gays not liking oversexualization. Touch grass.
