I double-checked her sales in Brazil and 'Rainbow' is indeed her best-selling album in that market with at least 300,000. Her other albums' sales don't even come close, not even Music Box or Daydream. Rainbow isn't the greatest album but it does contain what is perhaps my favorite flop single of Mariah's career: 1

Her biggest residency had 50 shows and grossed $25 million. Her current residency (2024) grossed $8,3 million from 8 shows. 8 more shows are to come in August. So, potentially this new residency could gross $16 million from 16 shows. I'm not sure how such small number of concerts should gross $100 million? Her Brazilian concert could gross $4-6 million. Ticket prices vary between $65 - $160. So, in the last 6 months, Mariah made $37,9 million from 24 concerts. (8 of which were from Vegas). I think Mariah has one of her best live entertainment eras these days in terms of revenue. Her biggest concerts in the past 6 months were her 2 sold out (17k) shows at the Hollywood Bowl. I mean people can drag her all they want... but I think those numbers look phenomenal for someone who is called so many bad names. <3 1
