When was the last time the top 2 albums both did over 300k? It's probably been forever

8 years ago. Drake and Beyoncé. It's in the op.

While I prefer Billie's album, I'm happy for both of them! The pop girlies are killing it!

You guys can continue to act like you don't have functioning brains to know 30x tracks inflate her numbers considerably, but no one else cares. Her songs are everywhere on TikTok, having insane stability on Spotify, etc. Her average per track is almost 3x that of TTPD

She's winning no matter how hard Swifties try and make it seem like she's losing :clap3:

Ofc the swiffers are in this thread being bitter despite their fave taking the top spot.

Billie got the girls mad! :clap3:

Billie with her biggest opening and smashing on streaming. We know it was the most consumed album by the GP last week so that's what matters  :clap3:

Lmaoooo this " GPT" cope is so dumb and pathetic at the same time lmao.

Amazing numbers for Billie :clap3: Unfortunately streaming farms and fraud prevailed this week but we all know who's album was really the most popular :clap3:

The streaming farms and fraud in question:

This is great for Billie, she deserves it. Also I notice that her numbers are not radically bigger than her other albums in spite of streaming platforms growing and the Taylor controversy. I don't think this is a repeak but still a huge era for her.

Also would love to see her numbers and peak in UK and international market.

Anyway, to non-insane people: does anyone have Morgan's first 10 week numbers? Cus TTPD could be off to the same trajectory both numbers and chart wise :biblionny:

What's the record for most consecutive weeks at number one from debut? Whitney Houston's Whitney and Adele's 25 with 7 weeks? Taylor is already at 5 weeks, I hope she can hold out for 3 more weeks. She came so close with Folklore.

Congratulations Billie on your #2 and keeping your dignity intact which is worth more than any #1. :heart2:

She's the first artist to drop a sped up, slow down, reversed and non instrumental version of their album in its debut week

I think it's Stevie Wonder's Songs In The Key Of Life from 1977, which spent the first 13 weeks at #1.

Wow, so TTPD is looking like it'll stabilize around 200k and

take many weeks to descend down to 170k. so unless there are surprise drops or big name drops that ruins things, it could have a very long residency at number 1.

The set posted its first weekly gain in units following the release of six new digital album download variants and a new CD variant, along with a stock replenishment of the previously available four deluxe CD editions and the signed CD edition of the album — all of which were sold exclusively in Swift's webstore.

Pulling all the stops to block Billie I see. :nicole2:

This is huge, she could be doing 10 weeks of 200k since she will casually have 50k sales every week anyway.

If her team continues to slowly deliver the album, she's going to stick around for a while at #1. SOS was tough competition for Midnights and there's nothing like it on the radar. Maybe SZA's own Lana or if Kendrick capitalizes on his beef and drop a record. To a lesser extent Noah Kahan if he drops his new album hastly, since Stick Season has been quite the sleeper hit. But none of them have dates, so the field is open for Taylor

Oh I was talking about the female record, though I had no idea the male record was that far out of reach.
