YellowRibbon Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Also, I'm trying to see a pattern... Are all these artists under a common label or distribution deal? .... How's Gustavo Lima at #26 in Saudi Arabia out of NOWHERE

Probably the work of one person and not label related

It's just very confusing because between Discovery Mode being ON for most of the releases that MPGs have done this year(when random catalogue tracks rise a lot on the first Sunday following a new album's release just to collapse on Monday + these random khias getting 14M unfiltered streams in a day with an 85% filter rate, Spotify really must have watered down the boys filtering. 1

I have a feeling people are always constantly trying to game the algorithm. Spotify fixes it and filter these things, then they find a way to game it again. It might not even be stan-related, but computer nerd related just for fun. But yeah streaming farms by labels also exist, and so does fans using VPNs for streaming parties. I don't know how the algorithm works in Spotify, but maybe it's not as good for some regions in comparison to others. I don't think what we are seeing today is label related, unless we're watching different activities goin on at the same time

dumbsparce Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Another day, another Beyonce fraud. At what point do her blind stans realize that wherever there's smoke there's fire? 2 1 2
ShadeIena Posted May 27 Posted May 27 She's really local for anglophone countries and Brazil. Surprised tho

Bonicap Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Spotify is a mess, but they don't mind fixing it because only a bunch of nerds are closely looking at this. No repercussions in the real world for their fraud.

There are many accounts that post stats for more than one artist. Nice attempt to divert the attention from this fraudulence though 1 1
KingWitch Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Hmmm this disgusting but if someone could point me to how they do this for future reference 1

Pinkbutterflies Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I told you most of her streams are fake and payolad but Beyonce doesn't care about charts! 1

Oh pls. If she can do it in Saudi Arabia then she is doing it in other places too. We just caught her payola in that country because that country rarely plays music. 1
Papi Juancho Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Columbia is probably testing its streaming farms, preparing for its next big announcement. Harry? Miley? Adele? Rosalia? we just need to wait an see
