I think Instagram has the most homophobic & racist content I've seen, especially in the comment section.

 

Tiktok is a mess! They remove your comment if it's three clown emojis "🤡🤡🤡" but those videos in the OP being posted is ok to them?

In the area where I live it's complete opposite. The society used to be very homophobic, but now more and more people are becoming more acceptable (especially youth) or identifying as LGBT themselves. Slowly but surely things are changing

I haven't noticed it toward the LGB community, and as a gay person I don't feel targeted at all. These people generally don't care about people's sexual orientations and view it as separate.

 

The hate seems more targeted toward all the different gender identities.

I think you're missing the point of what I'm saying. I'm not separating the two, I'm saying that all the backlash trans people have been receiving has emboldened people to come after LGBs in a way that they haven't before.

 

Anyway in my country there isn't as much of an anti-gay sentiment, it's definitely all concentrated on trans people and gender ideology

But I just want the gays who think it's not a big deal to remember the Liberal Supreme court of the Obama era made Gay Marriage Legal there is NO LAW that protects Gay Marriage, your rights to get married may be demolished while trans people will be unaffected by it. I wonder if Trans people will be silent when your rights are taken or will trans people be on the frontline fighting for YOUR rights.
