Pop culture is more alive than ever

pop culture has been dead since 2009

90% of these new artists have failed to become house hold names and are only recognizable from a song or two by most people. My gay ass listens to more country music than pop these days cause it's just that boring.

Taylor Swift kinda killed the excitement Pop Culture with her tsunami of snooze-inducing garbage. But with the return of more exciting artists like Katy and Gaga, it seems like we will soon see some good and exciting days again.

I've always felt like leap years are the wildest for pop culture/news/etc. They have a certain chaotic energy. 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024 -- so much happened in music in each of these years.

Ooo... you might be onto something... :sherlock:

None of these things are remotely close to being « pop culture » though lol

Imagine if the OP was around in the 80s or 90s and experienced some actual pop culture moments.

Maybe not "pop culture" but this year has been pretty entertaining so far when it comes to music and scandals.

Kendrick vs Drake, Taylor Swift and Matty drama, Beyonce country, Gaga and Katy coming back, Billie vs Taylor, Dua flopping hard, everyone and their mothers are doing and releasing stuff next year is gonna be so boring
