Pop culture is short for "popular culture."

Popular culture encompassing everything like music, movies, sports, politics, protests,etc...

It seems like gays just only focus on the music sung by females while the straights focus on music by males and sports.

I've always felt like leap years are the wildest for pop culture/news/etc. They have a certain chaotic energy. 2012, 2016, 2020, 2024 -- so much happened in music in each of these years.

Nicki is the only actually impactful/interesting/entertaining one, she always is.

i'm referring more to messy, juicy, unexpected dramas but maybe you are right, regular album releases are pop culture too

Imagine if the OP was around in the 80s or 90s and experienced some actual pop culture moments.

Drake getting skull dragged and a #1 song calling him a sicko is the biggest event of the year.
