I'm a bit confused by her response. If she's implying that the point of view she would present on the album is to remind the world about importance of Country music, and that such vision is fractured by Beyonce then I'm confounded and disappointed. 
Isn't there something else to say on Lasso?

No, she just says that she's unsure about how the response to it will be. There is literally no indication that she says that she has a) scrapped it or b) other releases have impacted the record or the reception of country music in general.

Did we listen the same interview? She literally said I have no idea where Lasso is going now after mentioning the major releases from other artists and also asked the question, what can I say now?

What's confusing about what she said?

 

1. She explains that she announced Lasso as a country album whilst presenting Jack Antonoff with an award at the Billboard x NMPA Songwriter Awards (https://www.billboard.com/music/pop/lana-del-rey-announces-album-lasso-1235594901/)

2. Lana says she predicted that the music industry was going to target the country audience in 2024. The quote she gave back then was: "If you can't already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We're going country. It's happening." In her retelling of the moment in this most recent clip, it seems she rephrases what she announced to the crowd as "welcome Hollywood to Nashville, and Nashville to Hollywood", but the gist is the same. (or maybe she was not completely quoted online, whatever)

3. She says the audience ghosted her announcement lol

4. She says her songs will be less autobiographical and more melodic. She references American Songbook I think because these songs are """universal""" (for people of her demographic) rather than intimate. Like, easy to sing along to, and understand, without parasocial attachment.

5. She tries to flatter the interviewer about his dumb idea, you can't be cunty irl like on atrl all the time (alas)

 

Lana is incoherent sometimes, but this isn't one of those times
