Boeing strikes again, another fatal flaw detected.

Yet another fleet of Boeing airplanes was found to have a potentially disastrous flaw — one that could set the entire aircraft ablaze.

The aircraft manufacturer discovered that its 777 liners have poor electrical insulation near its fuel tank, according to a proposed rule the Federal Aviation Administration posted in March.

"This condition, if not addressed, could result in an ignition source inside the fuel tank and subsequent fire or explosion," the Airworthiness Directives note states.

Not the damn plane could randomly explode mid flight :deadbanana2:.  And Boeing lazy ass leaving it to the airlines to fix. I hate them.

Yeah, after this & the recent controversies, i will be paying extra just so i'm 100% sure i will not be flying with a Boeing aircraft

This is terrible. No one wants to fly Boeing anymore! How are airlines gonna cope with this?

Unfortunately, Boeing has a duopoly on commercial airplane manufacturing (along with Airbus). Airbus fortunately has more airplanes being used by airline companies as of 2023 (13.6k vs 10.2k Boeing planes) but some airlines and countries almost exclusively use Boeing. Hopefully this changes, or Boeing gets nationalized which would make their safety standards much more rigid as being government-owned would take the profit-driven cost-cutting measures out of the equation.

Those can only get you so far. Planes are statistically safer than cars. But if you don't wanna book a flight that's your choice. :clap3:

Well, How do you go from one continent to another then? :clack:

Just because you're broke and can't afford a car doesn't mean flying by bombastic explosive Boeing is better :isudumblmao:

(I'm broke and I don't have a car so I use trains)

I meant to say intercontinental travels. Can you go from one continent to another on your feet? :deadbanana2:

I don't have to fly to other continents because mine is the best + I don't want to explode mid air
