It should still count. Traditional remix single EPs, which are admittedly rare these days, count toward the original song's parent album, so this should. I don't think anyone should expect it to make a huge difference, of course, but a little bump for sure. I don't know about them being separate tracks - I think the song works both in its original form and separated, and I hope a "full" version with the first half and then this extended portion together is also eventually released, and then maybe an edit with just the beginning part. It's interesting even just from an artistic perspective to have a few different ways to process this particular track. I don't know if anyone else will feel this way, but I keep having the compulsive thought that whatever demon fled Grimes' body after Art Angels was in the room when Billie made this part of L'amour, because this THAT kind of high-quality pop banger 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
