Billie keeps it close on the big ones, but things like Amazon Music and Youtube, etc, Taylor has leads most likely. I DO think that Billie might surprise and have a bigger debut than they think, somewhere in the 350k realm. That's why I think her team/label should go all the way these 2 days left. For example Kacey had a big discount when she released her last album and her predictions went from 75-85k to 95k. And Billie obviously has a bigger fanbase and the streams are overperforming However it would be more painful if she's blocked while doing 340k units or something like that

Billie could be doing 380k total by the end of the week and Taylor 300k for all we know. I think it's a total toss-up at this point but yeah, idk how much they can do with two days left to increase sales by THAT much. Billie would likely need to hard push 30-40k more units to be in contention. 1
omrimayo Posted May 22 Posted May 22 1 hour ago, Kern said: Billie didn't lost anything, the album is getting insane acclaim and she's going on arena tour next year - I couldn't get tickets because they sold out immediately. The only losers are people who pay insane amounts of money for each bonus track sold SEPARATELY Maybe, but even the one who didn't like myself, you don't believe them cuz you think we're all "insane", so... good luck of getting a ticket to the arena tour 1
Donquizote Posted May 22 Posted May 22 The fact that everyone is overreacting with first week number. I believe with current trajectory and good word of mouth, this album will eventually go #1. 4

One could hope - seems Taylor has a lot of plans to block any attempts over the next month or so to try and hold as long as possible. I think only the next big main debut might disrupt her.

But Billie could increase from 300k based on what they said that she could challenge her best openning and even more

Something isn't adding up in my head. We'll see I guess!

Taylor fanboy Posted May 22 Posted May 22 BOZ has already revealed the Red album. How are we NOT moving?

Ponzi Posted May 22 Posted May 22 That L'amour extended mix is giving me sooooo much life the og is still one of my faves of the album though. Ugh her mind. **** Pitchfork btw, they lost all the little credibility they had left when they backed down on their past scores. 1

dalladallamallamalla Posted May 22 Posted May 22 DIY Mag - 5/5 stars (counts for Metacritic I believe) https://diymag.com/review/album/billie-eilish-hit-me-hard-and-soft 3

The album is being received very well by the GP judging by the streams. She'd easily get a #1 album if she dropped a 20-track album instead of 10

Green Posted May 22 Posted May 22 L'AMOUR DE MA VIE should have been 2 different songs By the way the extended version counts for L'AMOUR DE MA VIE stats or will it chart as a different/separate song?

Cruel Summer Posted May 22 Posted May 22 3 minutes ago, Green said: L'AMOUR DE MA VIE should have been 2 different songs By the way the extended version counts for L'AMOUR DE MA VIE stats or will it chart as a different/separate song? It should still count. Traditional remix single EPs, which are admittedly rare these days, count toward the original song's parent album, so this should. I don't think anyone should expect it to make a huge difference, of course, but a little bump for sure. I don't know about them being separate tracks - I think the song works both in its original form and separated, and I hope a "full" version with the first half and then this extended portion together is also eventually released, and then maybe an edit with just the beginning part. It's interesting even just from an artistic perspective to have a few different ways to process this particular track. I don't know if anyone else will feel this way, but I keep having the compulsive thought that whatever demon fled Grimes' body after Art Angels was in the room when Billie made this part of L'amour, because this THAT kind of high-quality pop banger 3
